News
The news component is used to combine a set of articles from a specific Crystallize-folder into an overview with titles and thumbnails.
Show only the four latest articles, highlight the latest
To avoid having too many articles showing up on a page, the default view is only rendering the latest four articles sorted by publishing date. By highlighting the latest one, the most recent article will be shown as a larger element above the others like the following example.
Show only the four latest articles, no highlighting
The most plain and simple view shows the latest four articles and present them side-by-side.
Show all articles
To create a page listing all available articles, the "Show all" property can be toggled. When this is in use, you should avoid using too many components after the News components because it can be quite lenghty with lots of articles. In our example, only five articles are provided.
Filter articles by topics
By providing a topic filter to the News overview, only articles with topics matching the provided set will be shown. In the following example, a topic filter for the topic name "Topic 1" is applied.
